Rice Remodeling
I started
in this business when I was 14 years old working for my
father. I do not just supervise. I have personally
pour concrete, lay blocks and bricks, frame, trim, install
siding, roofing, install gas, electrical, plumbing,
HVAC, drywall, painting, and everything that it takes
to build a new house or remodel an older one, from start
to finish. I have been involved in the building of
thousands of new homes. I've worked on high
rise commercial buildings in Baltimore and Washington,
D.C. I've built laboratories at Georgia Tech, UGA,
the CDC and around the Atlanta area. I've done surveying
and CADD design on computers. I have spent
40+ years learning everything I can about the construction/remodeling
business.
I am at
least the fourth generation in my family in the construction
remodeling business. I never worked with my great
grandfather, but I have worked with both my grandfathers,
my father, two uncles, my aunt, and sister in the
business. When the family gets together we talk
about the business that we are all involved in. I love
the work that I do, and it is very satisfying to turn
people's dreams into reality.
My business
is tightly woven into my family, my wife works at Home
Depot as a manger and works with me helping with pricing
and proposals. I treat all of my employees as family.
I expect my employees to present themselves with
respect for the customer, themselves, myself and the rest
of the crew. There is no drinking or smoking allowed
on any site. Our business takes us in to people's
homes and we conduct ourselves in a professional
manner at all times.
I have been
blessed to have good business relationships with
some of the most respected businessmen in Atlanta.

and repair. I have been in construction all my life
and I can build it for you.
I'm the one that comes
to your house to look at the project you have in mind.
I listen well and give all the suggestions I can to help
us both picture the best way to complete the project.
I'm the one that writes the proposal, that buys the material,
supervises everyone that works on your house and I also
like to do a lot of the work myself.
We have been in busness here in Georgia for 10 years now.
