next week.
Faulkinberry's combination toybox &
seat, Jennifer is going to add some cushions to the seat later.
The electric panels are hidden behind the cabinet
doors next to the window.
Notice the pool table light supported by a drop
ceiling.
(It's really supported from above the drop ceiling.)
This is the same house, notice the 3' high
bead board w/cap going along every wall.
Before picture:
Mike Buckner, Stone Mountain, GA, January, 2003.
There were large gaps around the walls where
cold air from outside was blowing in. Rotted wood was causing
the floor above to drop about a half inch and was continuing
to fall. Water was coming in to Mike's basement, so we diverted
water away from the house. It was cold, wet and dark in this
basement.
After picture:
Mike's new bar with sink, drop ceiling w/four
lights, phone outlets and new closet, surround sound wiring,
a beautiful upgrade berber carpet with 8 lb. padding. We also
built storage shelves for Mike in his garage and made a walk
through from one side of his garage to the other. The entire
job was completed in two weeks, on time and in budget.
Mike was a great person to work with.
After picture:
Greg Kurzner's finished basement, with Workout room, Office
, Recording room and Bathroom .
